Accessible Mobility In Florida Since 1997
In 1997, MTS was formed to serve the adaptive vehicle equipment needs in SW Florida (The Tampa Bay Area). Immediately this company saw the need to acquire membership in THE NATIONAL MOBILITY EQUIPMENT DEALERS ASSOCIATION (NMEDA) and seek the prestigious certification as QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM (QAP) Members.
NMEDA & QAP Approved
NMEDA is a not for profit voluntary trade association for mobility equipment dealers driving specialists and other dedicated professional individuals in the mobility industry. This voluntary membership organization was founded in 1989 and now has over 600 members worldwide. The QAP program was established to assure the consumers and paying sources would be treaded with accessibility, reliability and quality of workmanship. NMEDA'S QAP accreditation is the only certification available in the industry. QAP Certification is a requirement for many suppliers and manufactures before mobility dealers can purchase product necessary for many clients.
Highest Accreditations
On July 31, 2001, MTS was awarded this prestigious QAP High Tech Driving System Installer accreditation along with the designation as a Structural Vehicle Modifier. The QAP has a thorough application process and an on-site survey by RADCO, the independent national engineering firm examiner. The QAP High Tech Driving Installation Facility and the Structural Vehicle Modifier requires semi-annual re-certification by RADCO.
Athorized EMC Installer
MTS is the only QAP certified mobility equipment dealer in the Tampa Bay area that is designated as an Electronic Mobility Equipment (EMC) qualified provider with a Master Technical Specialist and a certified EMC Installer both on the premises.
BraunAbility Presidents Award 4 Years In A Row
MTS has been awarded the Braun Corporation President's award for the past four years and was selected to sell, provide, and service the Toyota Sienna Minivans as well as all Braun products. MTS installs raised tops, builds raised doors and lowered floors as well as power door openers. In addition our technicians install lifts and power door openers in Motor homes. All of the service technicians are certified in all products sold and serviced.
Family Owned And Operated
MTS is family-owned and operated by local folks born in Hillsborough County. MTS is also designated as the authorized Accessible Vans of America member in the Tampa Bay area.
